Let’s face it—most mornings for moms feel like a race before your feet even hit the floor. But what if you gave yourself just three minutes to breathe before you sprint?


This simple mindfulness reset is perfect for chaos-filled mornings:


The 3-Minute Reset

Minute 1: Deep Breathing

  • Inhale for 4 seconds

  • Hold for 4

  • Exhale for 6

  • Repeat 3 times


Minute 2: Positive Affirmations

Try:

  • “I am present and calm.”

  • “I am equipped for today.”

  • “I’m doing enough.”


Minute 3: Set an Intention

Examples:

  • “I will pause before I react.”

  • “I will seek moments of joy.”

  • “I will lead with grace.”


This isn’t about perfection. It’s about starting from presence, not pressure. Give yourself permission to begin your day grounded.
